Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how to cancel an engagement with Palisades Labs ("we", "us") and which fees can be refunded. If your signed agreement or statement of work says something different, the signed document governs.

Monthly retainers

• Retainers run month to month and are invoiced at the start of each month for that month.
• You or we can cancel for any reason with 30 days' written notice. To cancel, email aaron@palisadeslabs.ai.
• Work continues through the notice period, and the retainer fee for that period is still due.
• When the engagement ends, we deliver the final work product, hand over credentials and in-progress materials, and help with the transition.

Projects under a statement of work

• A project can be cancelled as set out in its statement of work. If the statement of work does not cover cancellation, either party can cancel at any time by written notice.
• You pay for work performed up to the cancellation date, and we deliver that work to you.

What can be refunded

• Prepaid retainer fees for any period after your cancellation takes effect.
• Prepaid project fees for work not yet performed.
• Duplicate or mistaken charges.

What cannot be refunded

• Retainer fees for completed months, and fees for work already performed.
• Expenses already incurred on your behalf with your prior approval.
• Third-party costs, such as AI model, API and software subscriptions. These are billed by the providers, and refunds for them follow the providers' own policies.

How to request a refund

Email aaron@palisadeslabs.ai with the invoice number and the reason for your request. We reply within two business days. Approved refunds are issued within five business days to the original payment method through Stripe; your bank may take a few more business days to show the refund.

If you have a question about a charge, please contact us before disputing it with your bank so we can resolve it directly.
